UP Election 2027 Candidates

The candidate list for the 2027 election does not exist yet. Candidates are announced by political parties after the election schedule is declared, and the final list of contesting candidates is published by the Election Commission after nominations close and scrutiny is complete.

What happens, in order:

The ECI announces the election schedule, including the last date for nominations.
Political parties announce their candidates, constituency by constituency.
Candidates file nominations; the Returning Officer scrutinises them.
After withdrawal, the ECI publishes the final list of contesting candidates with their party symbols.
Affidavits (assets, criminal cases, education) are published on the ECI affidavit portal.

This page will list candidates constituency-wise once the final list is published. Until then, any “candidate list” circulating on social media is unverified — parties can and do change candidates until nominations close.

For the official record, check eci.gov.in ↗ and affidavit.eci.gov.in ↗ after the schedule is announced.
